Reliable Nepal Life Insurance’s Profit Soars 47.25%, Life Insurance Fund Reaches Rs 13.57 Billion

Kathmandu — Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has reported strong growth in its financial performance for the fiscal year 2081/82, with net profit surging by 47.25% to Rs 571.95 million, up from Rs 387.2 million in the previous year.

The company’s life insurance fund expanded by 36.45% to Rs 13.57 billion, compared to Rs 9.94 billion a year earlier. Net insurance premium income also rose sharply by 31.82% to Rs 5.03 billion, from Rs 3.81 billion in the corresponding period last fiscal year.

During the review period, Reliable Nepal Life spent Rs 536.2 million on commission expenses, reflecting a 10.13% increase from last year.

With a paid-up capital of 4.64 billion, the company posted earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 10.97 and a net worth per share of Rs 147.47, indicating a healthy financial position.
