Siddhartha Premier Insurance Leads in Gen-Z Claim Payments, Disburses Over Rs 1.5 Billion
Kathmandu — Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company Limited has emerged as one of the leading insurers in Nepal for its swift and substantial claim payments following the damages caused by the Gen-Z movement on Bhadra 23 and 24. The company has already paid out more than Rs 1.5 billion in insurance claims, reaffirming its commitment to prompt customer service.
According to the company, it has so far received 401 insurance claims totaling Rs 5.51 billion from across the country. Out of these, 86 claims amounting to Rs 1.51 billion have already been settled as of Kartik 26, making Siddhartha Premier one of the top-performing insurers in post-crisis claim payments.
Even amid challenges such as curfew orders, Dashain, and Tihar holidays, company employees worked diligently to ensure that affected policyholders received their payments on time. Many entrepreneurs and business owners whose properties were damaged during the Gen-Z movement have reportedly gained significant relief through these timely settlements.

The company stated that it is prioritizing claims related to damages to personal, public, government, and industrial properties insured under riot and terrorism insurance policies. It has emphasized its adherence to the core principle of “cash insurance premium and cash insurance payment”, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the process.
Siddhartha Premier has also urged remaining policyholders awaiting compensation to submit all required documents promptly so that their claims can be processed without delay.
