14 Non-Life Insurers Collect More Than NPR 9.83 Billion in Premiums in Two Months
Kathmandu — Fourteen non-life insurance companies collected more than NPR 9.83 billion in total premiums by the end of Aug-Sep in the current fiscal year 2026/27, according to data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority.
Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance led the sector with NPR 1.09 billion in premiums, followed by Shikhar Insurance with NPR 1.04 billion. NLG Insurance and Himalayan Everest Insurance each collected NPR 971.7 million.
Siddhartha Premier Insurance collected NPR 895.2 million, followed by IGI Prudential Insurance with NPR 825.2 million, The Oriental Insurance with NPR 740.6 million, Neco Insurance with NPR 706.9 million and United Ajod Insurance with NPR 617.2 million.
Nepal Insurance collected NPR 432.7 million, Sanima GIC Insurance NPR 422.6 million, National Insurance NPR 411.5 million, Rastriya Beema Company NPR 363 million and Prabhu Insurance NPR 344.9 million.
