In Four months, the Life Insurance Companies collected 8 Billion 623 Million First Insurance Fee, Nepal Life is the first,

Kathmandu : The 14 life insurance companies that are currently operating have managed to earn first insurance premiums equal to 8 billion 623 million Rupees by the mid of November.Life insurance companies earned 9 billion 110 million Rupees in first insurance fee in mid of November last financial year. Compared to the same period of the previous financial year, the first insurance fee income of life insurance companies has decreased by about 5.41 percent.

By the mid of November, Nepal Life has earned the highest first insurance fee. The company has managed to earn a total of 2 billion 110 million Rupees as first insurance fee by the mid of November.  Comparing the same period of last November, the company’s first insurance premium income has increased by 19 percent this year.

Likewise, National Life has earned new business worth a total of 1 billion 250 million rupees by the month of October. The company’s new business has increased by 16.14 percent compared to last November.

LIC Nepal has acquired a new insurance business worth 676 million 400 thousand Rupees. The company’s new business income has decreased by 0.40 percent compared to last November.Based on new business growth, IME Life is at the forefront. By the month of October, the company’s first insurance fee has increased by 28.15 percent and is 312.7 million Rupees.Similarly, Himalayan Life has earned new business worth 626.3 million Rupees by the mid of November. The company had earned 740.7 million Rupees as first insurance fee till mid of November last year. Which is 15 percent less compared to this year.Suryajyoti Life has earned new business worth 338.5 million Rupees by the mid of November this year. The company had earned 945.7 million Rupees last year which means this year is 33.95 percent less in comparison.
