High decline in the Insurance Sector due to the Fall of Stock Market before the review of the Monetary Policy
Kathmandu: The stock market closed down on the last day of the week 30th November. Before the review of the monetary policy, the stock market fell by 18.06 points and the insurance sector experienced a high decline.
Life Insurance :
On the last day of trading, the life insurance index decreased by 100.57 percent to 10208.44 points. On that day, the life insurance sub-index decreased by 0.97 percent.
On Thursday,(30th December) out of a total of 11 companies from the life insurance sector, the share price of two insurance companies increased, while the share price of one company remained stable. The share price of all the remaining 8 life insurance companies has decreased.
Non-Life Insurance:
On Thursday, 30th November, the non-life insurance index decreased by 65.08 points to 9850.89 points. On that day, the non-life insurance sub-index decreased by 0.65 percent.
A total of 12 companies from the non-life insurance sector came into business on the last day of trading. Out of which the share price of two companies has increased while the share price of the remaining 10 non-life insurance companies has decreased.
