Payment of insurance claims by Surya Jyoti Life

Kathmandu : Surya Jyoti Life Insurance Company has paid the death claim amount in Gulmi. The death claim amount has been transferred to Rupa Mahat Chhetri a resident of Musikot Municipality–3. After the death of Bimal Mahat. who had insured Surya Jyoti Dhan Benefit in this company his rightful owner Rupa Mahat Chhetri applied to the company for payment of the death claim.

The insured was insured three years ago by Same Jyoti Life currently Suryajyoti Life Insurance. Huma Pokharel, Head of Ridi, Branch informed that he has paid an annual insurance fee.

Accordingly, the sum insured for death claims is Rs.10 lakhs for accidents and the amount for accrued bonuses is Rs.1 lakh 91 thousand 667. The total loan amount taken by the insured by pledging the insurance policy to the company is Rs.1 lakh 48 thousand 172 and the interest on the same. After deducting the amount for insurance fee the remaining amount is Rs.823. An amount of 20 lakh 35 thousand 262 has been transferred.

The insurance claim payment amount was handed over to Musikot Municipality Mayor Jeevan Kharel. Ward Chairman Shankar Rayamazhi, Global Bank Gulmi Head Yogendra Rayamazhi, Surya Jyoti Life Insurance’s Reedy Branch Head Huma Pokharel.
