Newly elected agents association of Nepal Life submitted seven points demand
Kathmandu :The newly elected Professional Insurance Agents of Association Nepal Insurance Committee Nepal Life’s working committee has made 7 demands including increasing the bonus rate that policyholders get in Nepal Life.
The newly elected committee has decided to fulfill the 7 point demands to the company after discussing the issues raised in the interest of the insured, agents and the company from the meeting held on 10th of January 2024 A.D.
As the first demand, the committee has requested to increase the bonus rate that the insured will get from the previous one. Similarly, in the second demand, taking into consideration the circumstances of the insured, the installment delay discount facility has been requested to be implemented in the company from 15th of January, 2024 A.D without any limitation of time.
Ganesh Adhikari, chairman of the association, informed that it has also been requested to manage the arrangement as soon as possible to change the policy to any insurance plan according to the wishes of the insured who missed one installment payment.
When the company brings different types of schemes, it is also demanded that the premium calculated in M or BC in each insurance scheme should be unconditionally calculated in the scheme as well. The association also requests to bring the children’s insurance plan to the market at a suitable time. Professional Insurance Agents Association Nepal has also requested to arrange a secretariat room for the Secretariat of Insurance Committee. In Nepal Life, agents in various branches and sub-branches have been requested to facilitate the management of necessary rooms for business growth.
A new working committee was formed under the chairmanship of Ganesh Adhikari from a special session called on 4th of January, 2024 A.D. A strong committee has been prepared from the session which was completed after a great struggle. The committee expressed its commitment to work as a bridge between the insurance company Nepal Life, the insured and the agents. Accordingly, a coordination committee will also be formed to work as a bridge between the company and the agent association.
