Five directors elected unopposed in United Azod Insurance

Kathmandu: United Azod Insurance has five directors elected unopposed. Only five percent will be unopposed after the nomination.

The company had published a schedule for the election of 3 directors representing the board of directors on behalf of the founder shareholders of group “A” and 2 directors representing the board of directors on behalf of the general shareholders of group ”B”. In which only 3 people from the founder side and 2 people from the general public have nominated.

Ajad Shrestha, who is currently the chairman, Pranav Kumar Das and Balram Khanal, the current directors, have nominated for the founder. Das has nominated on behalf of CG Foods and Khanal on behalf of Chaudhary Group. Panudatta Poudel and Shambhu Adhikari have given their candidature for the general public. Panudatta is currently director while the officer is a new face.

The company’s annual general meeting to be held on Sunday will elect them as directors.
