14 Life Insurance companies succeed to earn own business more than 750 Billion Rupees

Kathmandu : Until the Mid of February 2024 A.D end the of (Magh, 2080 B.S) of fiscal year 2023/2024 A.D (2079/80 B.S), life insurance companies were able to succeed the total business of worth 86 Billion 880 million rupees. According, to the financial statistic published by the Nepal Insurance Authority, 14 Life insurance companies has issued 13 million 773 thousand 315 insurance policies through which they were able to gain the total insurance fee of 86 billion 880 million 800 thousand Rupees.

Among these insurance companies, Nepal Life Insurance has been able to collect the highest total insurance fee of 23 billion 200 million Rupees within the 7 month period of time of fiscal year 2023/2024 A.D (2079/80 B.S), 2079/80. In the second position, we have LIC Nepal which has collected the total insurance fee of 10 billion 140 million Rupees whereas National Life is in third position with total insurance fee of 10 billion 50 million Rupees.

Himalayan life which has collected 9 billion 910 million Rupees as total insurance fee is in forth position whereas SuryaJyoti life is in fifth with total insurance fee of 5 billion 30 million Rupees.

In the list of insurance companies earning less than 5 billion Rupees as Total insurance fee are: Rastriya Jeewan Beema Company with 4 billion 980 million Rupees, Asian life with 4 billion 380 million Rupees, Citizen Life with 3 billion 260 million Rupees and Met life with 3 billion 140 million Rupees.

Similarly, IME Life collected Rs.2.5 billion, Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life Rs.2.38 billion, Reliable Nepal Life Rs.2.30 billion and Sun Nepal Life collected Rs.2.12 billion as total insurance fees.
