On the basis of Public Complaint, the Insurance Authority Issued 18-point Instructions to the company, Warning of action if not followed

Kathmandu : Nepal Insurance Authority has drawn the attention of insurance companies. Nepal Insurance Authority issued a circular on 6th of Chaitra, 2080 B.S and gave this information.

For the first time, the authority has brought the attention of the insurance companies by issuing the integrated guide after collecting the public complaints. The authority has also warned that they will take action if they do not comply.

Director Dinesh Kumar Lal has said that during the in-site and out-site inspection of insurers by the Nepal Insurance Authority from time to time, various quality has been found in the reports and the complaints received regarding the insurers in the insurance-related interaction at the provincial and local levels have been brought to the attention of the insurance companies by the authority.
