Khalti Introduces Instant Collateral-Free E-Loan Service in Partnership with SuryaJyoti Life Insurance

Kathmandu — In a move to enhance digital financial access in Nepal, leading digital wallet Khalti has introduced a new collateral-free e-loan service in collaboration with Suryajyoti Life Insurance. The newly launched feature enables users to receive instant loans of up to Rs 50,000 directly into their Khalti wallet, without the need for paperwork, collateral, or standing in long queues.

The service is designed for policyholders of SuryaJyoti Life Insurance, offering loans based on the insurance premium details. To be eligible, the mobile number registered in the insurance policy must match the number used to create the Khalti account. Once verified, users can apply for and receive the loan within a short time through the Khalti app.

This integration allows Khalti to assess loan eligibility in real-time using the customer data linked to Suryajyoti Life Insurance. The system automatically verifies policy details and determines loan limits, making the process seamless and user-friendly.

The company stated that this service will particularly benefit users in remote areas or those who require immediate access to funds without undergoing traditional banking procedures.
