Indian Pilgrims Re-enter Tibet for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra After Six Years

Kathmandu – In a significant milestone for post-pandemic pilgrimage travel, Kailash Vision Treks has successfully led a group of Indian pilgrims across the Tibet border for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra—the first such crossing in six years since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This landmark journey marks a spiritual and operational breakthrough, rekindling access to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar, which hold immense religious significance for followers of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. The successful entry of the pilgrim group into Tibet stands as a symbol of resilience, faith, and renewed international coordination in sacred travel.
“This is more than just a group departure; it is a spiritual revival and a proud achievement for the entire pilgrimage community,” said Sandesh Acharya, Operational Director of Kailash Vision Treks. “A leader is one who knows the way, shows the way, and goes the way—our team’s leadership, dedication, and confidence have brought us this far.”
Kailash Vision Treks extended its gratitude to all stakeholders involved, including its trusted partners, regulatory authorities, and the pilgrims who patiently awaited the reopening of the route. The company reaffirmed its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and spiritually fulfilling journeys to Kailash Mansarovar throughout 2025 and beyond.
