International Conference on Inclusive Insurance planning to held In Kathmandu Next year
Kathmandu; Nepali insurance stake holders jointly organized discussion meeting with Munich Re Foundation team Kathmandu yesterday to organized International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) 2024 in Nepal next year. The deputy chairman of Munich re Reinhard and president of Nepal Insurance authority has participated to conduct international conference on inclusive Insurance in Nepal at end of 2024
the Munich Re Foundation organizing the International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) in different countries since 2005 . Good news for Nepal is there is possibility that it is going to be held in Nepal in 2024
This year Munich Re Foundation is going to conduct 19Th ICII conference in Accra, Ghana from 23rd October till 27th of October 2023. Likewise the next edition of the conference (20th ICII) is said that to be held in Asia in 2024, due to which the team of Munich Re Foundation along with The Deputy Chaiman Mr.Dirk Reinhard has arrived in Kathmandu for prior-discussion.
The chairman of Nepal Life Insurance Association Poshak Poudel who was also participated in the meeting said that, the prior-discussion held yesterday in Kathmandu by the team has decided to choose Nepal for the 2Oth ICCI conference going to be held in Asia. Due to which the possibilities are being measured and plannings are being made by Munich Re Foundation and team.
This 20th ICII is planing to be held in Nepal by Munich re Foundation. The initiatives role play by Nepal Insurance Association for this international conference on inclusive insurance. Many high personalities related to insurance field like; Nepal Insurance Authority Chairman Surya Prasad Silawal , Excecutive Director Rajuraman Poudel, Nepal Insurance Association Chairman Chunki Chhetri , Nepal Life Insurance Association Chairman Poshak Poudel, CEO of Nepal reinsurance company Shankar Kumar rayamajhi, deputy CEO Himalayan reinsurance Upasana Paudel and along with the CEO’s of others insurance companies were present in the meeting held yesterday.
Since 2005 Munich Re has been conducting International Conference on Inclusive Insurance (ICII) every year in different countries under The Munich Re Foundation. In this conference discussions and strategies are formulated and international declarations are issued on behave of the people at grassroots level that should be brought under the penetration of insurance. The mission of the ICII is to provide a non-profit platform for all stakeholders to present and discuss issues, policies and state-of-the-art solutions for efficient, sustainable and inclusive insurance products.
