Birtamode Branch of Himalayan Life Provides Insurance Claim Payment of 1.3 Million Rupees
Kathmandu : Himalayan Life Insurance has provided the insurance claim payment. Birtamod branch of the company held a program on 15th Of October, 2023 A.D and paid death claims of Rupees 1.3 million.
Badri Prasad Bhandari, head of Birtamod branch of the company and Padam Giri, ward member of Suryodaya Municipality Ward No. 8, distributed the death claim payment amount to Januka Giri, wife of Late Bishal Giri, a resident of Suryodaya.Bishal Giri himself had taken “foreign employment insurance” while going for foreign employment through the former Gurans Life Insurance Company (now merged with Himalayan life).
He died in a road accident in Dhading after he came home on leave from foreign employment and was going to Kathmandu again for foreign employment. While handing over the check provided by the company, the ward member mentioned that the insurance company has given positive and financial compensation to the society when there is a problem.
He said that this type of action will increase the trust of the common people towards the insurance company. Similarly, the wife of the deceased also said that the amount will be used properly in solving her financial problems.The program was held in the presence of Birtamod branch chief Badri Prasad Bhandari, Birtamod marketing staff Akhil Bohora, Bhim Khanal, Fikkal branch staff Kamal Acharya and ward member of ward no.8 along with local dignitaries.
The head of the branch said that the company is completing the necessary procedures and is paying the death claims received from the insured as quickly as possible without providing any trouble to them.
