One Crore from Nabil Bank to Jajarkot and Rukum West Earthquake Victims

Kathmandu : Nabil Bank Limited has provided relief materials to the people of the earthquake-affected areas of West Nepal. The bank has decided to distribute relief materials worth one of crore rupees for the rescue and relief of the people of the affected areas.

Chief Marketing Officer Krishna Subedi participating the Bank over the first phase of relief to Assistant Chief District Officer Harishchandra Sharma to the one-door relief collection and distribution center run by the District Disaster Management Committee in Jajarkot.

A 6.4 Rector scale earthquake with Jajarkot as its epicenter last Friday midnight caused a huge loss of property in western Nepal. The relief was provided along with Nabil Bank’s emergency decision to help the people of the affected areas.

According to Chief Executive Officer Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana bank going to provide relief materials worth of one crore of food, tripal, blankets, medicines, etc. “We have provided this relief so that people in the earthquake-affected areas can get help to put ointment on the wounds also our social responsibility,” he said. He informed that relief materials will be provided in both Jajarkot and Rukum West areas.

Representing Nabil Bank’s Chief Market Officer Subedi RARA Cluster Head Tapendra Kunwar reached Jajarkot with carrying relief materials. As part of its social responsibility Nabil Bank has been providing relief to the victims of natural calamities at various times.
