The Government’s Decision to Control Social media

Kathmandu : The government has passed guidelines for social media operation to control the trend of writing and speaking inappropriately on social media. The Council of Ministers meeting held on Thursday passed the Social Media Operation Guideline 2023 with amendments.

The directive will be implemented after the decision of the Council of Ministers. Although the regulations mentioned in the directive are not public, it is not allowed to write and speak arbitrarily on social media. If they do so, they will have to take legal action. The government has brought guidelines to regulate the operation of social networks.
