LIC has Announced 21st General Meeting and Asked Everyone to Participate

Kathmandu : Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited (LIC), a life insurance company that owns most of the insurance sold, has called the 21st Annual General Meeting. According to the decision of the 128th meeting of the board of directors of the company held on 31st October, 2023 A.D (14th of Kartik, 2080 B.S), the 21st general meeting is going to be held on Monday, 4th of December (18th of Mangshir).

It is said that the general meeting will start after 11:30 am at Nepal Administrative Training Institute, Jawlakhel, Lalitpur. In the general meeting, the chairman will present and approve the annual report infront of the board of directors, discuss and approve the balance sheet of the year 2022 A.D (Mid of 2079 B.S) as well as the profit and loss account and cash flow statement of the financial year 2021 A.D (2078/79 B.S) along with the auditor’s report.

Similarly, according to the recommendations of the audit committee, a list of appointing auditors for the financial year 2022 A.D (2079/80 B.S) and fixing the remuneration of auditors has been kept. According to the public notice published by the company, it has been mentioned that the current auditor PL Shrestha and Company is eligible for re-appointment in accordance with the Company’s act 2006 A.D (2063 B.S).
