The government has appointed Rajya Kumar Sinha as the new member finance at IRDAI

Kathmandu: The Government of India has announced the appointment of Economist Rajya Kumar Sinha as the Finance and Investment Member of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDAI).

The government recently announced the appointment of Rajya Kumar Sinha as the Finance and Investment Member of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). Sinha, who is currently serving as MD and CEO of SBI Capital Markets Limited (SBICaps), will hold the post for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge. This appointment was made when the previous member Rakesh Joshi’s tenure ended in November.
