Nepal Life Insurance Announces 25th Annual General Meeting in Birgunj

Kathmandu – Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has announced its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on February 10, 2025. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at Hotel Vishuwa in Birgunj, Parsa district.
The AGM will discuss and approve several key agendas, including the proposal to distribute a 10 percent bonus share and an 11.05 percent cash dividend (tax inclusive) of the company’s current paid-up capital. Additionally, the meeting will approve an increase in the paid-up capital following the issuance of the proposed bonus shares.
The AGM will also review and approve the financial statements and the annual report for the last fiscal year, appoint auditors, and finalize their remuneration for the ongoing fiscal year.
Another significant agenda includes the election of three directors representing general shareholders (Group B). The board of directors will also seek authorization to make necessary amendments and changes to the company’s memorandum of association and regulations.
For the purpose of dividend distribution and participation in the AGM, the company closed its books for one day on January 23. Shareholders who were listed as of January 22 are eligible to attend the meeting and claim the declared dividends.
