IME Life Insurance to Hold 8th AGM on March

Kathmandu: IME Life Insurance Company Limited has announced its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Sunday, March 9, 2025. The company’s board of directors, in a meeting held on February 14, decided to hold the AGM at 11 a.m. at Diyo Mahal, Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.

The meeting will seek approval for a 21.05264% cash dividend (including tax) on the current paid-up capital. The AGM will also discuss and approve the financial statements, including the annual report of the previous fiscal year, appoint an auditor, and determine their remuneration for the current fiscal year.

Additionally, proposals to authorize the board of directors to amend the company’s charter and regulations and approve expenses under corporate social responsibility (CSR) will be presented.

IME Life has announced that its shareholders’ register will close on February 27 for the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution. Shareholders holding shares until February 25 will be eligible to participate in the meeting and receive the dividend.
