Nepal Micro Insurance IPO Receives Over NPR 1.25 Billion Applications in Two Days

Kathmandu – Nepal Micro Insurance has witnessed overwhelming public interest in its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with applications surpassing NPR 1.25 billion. The IPO, which opened for the general public on February 23, has already received applications from 965,221 investors as of 5:06 PM today, according to CDS and Clearing.

Investors have collectively applied for 12,596,000 shares, amounting to NPR 1.25 billion. The IPO also allocated 225,000 shares worth NPR 22.5 million exclusively for Nepali workers employed abroad.

Interested applicants are required to apply for a minimum of 10 shares, with a maximum limit set at 100,000 shares per investor. The application period remains open until February 27. However, if the total available shares are not fully subscribed within this timeframe, the deadline will be extended until March 9.
