IGI Prudential Insurance Conducts AML/CFT Training

Kathmandu – IGI Prudential Insurance Limited has recently conducted a training and seminar on compliance and Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML CFT). The event took place at Balthali Village Resort, Kavrepalanchok, in the presence of the company’s top management team.

The seminar was attended by heads from all seven provinces, department heads, and branch managers within Kathmandu Valley. Prakash Koirala, head of the company’s compliance department, provided in-depth insights into key aspects of compliance and AML CFT regulations.

During the event, Chief Executive Officer Yugesh Bhakta Wade Shrestha emphasized the importance of adhering to directives, laws, and regulations while serving customers. He instructed branch, provincial, and departmental heads to ensure full compliance with legal provisions in daily operations. He also expressed the need for proper customer identification and regulatory compliance at all levels of the company.
