Nepal Insurers’ Association Pledges Efficient Claim Management for Disaster-Affected Policyholders

Kathmandu — The Nepal Insurers’ Association has assured that insurance companies are committed to handling claims smoothly and effectively for policyholders and service recipients affected by the recent disaster.
In a press release, the association urged insured individuals and customers to contact their respective insurance companies to report damages and begin the claims process. It emphasized that insurers have the capacity and readiness to manage claims, countering doubts raised in some recent media reports.
The association also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and the extensive damage to both public and private property caused by the ongoing crisis. Paying tribute to the deceased, it extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
