SUBISU Provides Free Wi-Fi Internet Service to Flood-Affected Families in Relief Camps in Nuwakot
Nuwakot: With the aim of facilitating communication for flood-affected families, SUBISU has provided free Wi-Fi internet service at various relief camps and affected communities in Nuwakot.
At the disaster relief camp at Bhairum Secondary School, Bidur–8, Hattigauda, Nuwakot, where more than 200 flood-affected individuals are taking shelter, SUBISU has provided free Wi-Fi internet service to help them stay connected with their families and relatives and access and share essential information. The service was provided in coordination with Mr. Shivaram Shrestha, Principal of Bhairum Secondary School, and Mr. Ramesh Shrestha, Social Worker.
Speaking about the support, Mr. Shivaram Shrestha, Principal of Bhairum Secondary School, said:
“The free Wi-Fi service provided by SUBISU has made it easier for more than 200 people staying at the relief camp to remain connected with their families and relatives. I would like to thank SUBISU for recognizing the communication needs of affected families and providing free internet service during this difficult time. This support has provided significant relief to the families staying at the relief camp.”
Similarly, Mr. Ramesh Shrestha, Social Worker, said:
“Communication is extremely important during times of disaster. The free internet service provided by SUBISU has greatly helped flood-affected families staying at the relief camp remain connected with their loved ones.”
Likewise, at Chandra Jyoti Secondary School, Pipaltar, Nuwakot, SUBISU has also provided free Wi-Fi internet service considering the communication needs of flood-affected families and individuals taking shelter there.
Highlighting the support and its contribution to facilitating communication for affected families, Mr. Basudev Pangeni, Principal of Chandra Jyoti Secondary School, said:
“During this difficult situation, SUBISU has provided significant support to the affected families staying and facing hardship at Chandra Jyoti Secondary School by providing free Wi-Fi internet service to around 300–400 people. I sincerely express my gratitude to SUBISU for this support, which has made it easier for affected families to stay connected with their families and relatives.”
As communication becomes not just a convenience but an essential need during disasters, internet connectivity can play an important role in helping affected communities remain connected. With the objective of supporting communities according to their needs during difficult circumstances, SUBISU continues to provide free internet services at various relief camps and affected communities in Nuwakot.
