After the Pressure Started to Increased Draft Without the Inclusion of Agents and Surveyors, The Authority kept Five-star Program on Hold.

Kathmandu : After the pressure started to increase on the draft made without agents and surveyors, the authority has put together a five-star program. The Chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority, Surya Prasad Silwal, said in the program that since insurance companies and insurance surveyors are complementary to each other, both organizations should solve minor problems and work in a reliable manner.

The agents association and the surveyors association are preparing to surround the Ministry of Finance and the authority that have come out of their position. This program has been organized by the authority. Agents were not posted in the program. According to sources, it is understood that the authority is preparing to hold a program for insurance agents as well.

Addressing the interaction and discussion program with the Insurance Association and the Nepal Insurance Surveyors Association, Chairman Silwal said that both the associations should understand each other, solve minor problems in time, work according to the existing law, advance the insurance sector. He emphasized on the need to proceed jointly to increase.

Chairman Silwal instructed to prepare the report and submit it on time without making any pretense while preparing the report on the loss of the insured property and said, “The division of work should be based on the expertise of the insurance surveyor. Fees should be fixed, insurers should understand the matter of surveyor arrangements for credibility.”

President Silwal said, “The officers of both associations had to do new work, organize training for surveyors, pay attention to providing quality services, join the digital framework to know which insurance company has given how much work to how many surveyors, claims due to insurers and surveyors. There was no complaint that there was a delay in the flight.

Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Rajuraman Paudel has said that the insurance surveyor should submit the report as soon as possible and the insurance company should also pay the survey fee as soon as the report is received.

Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Kamal Prasad Regmi expressed the opinion that insurers and surveyors should work to protect the rights and interests of the insured.Sushiledev Subedi, director of Nepal Insurance Authority, pointed out the need to take the increase in the number of insurance surveyors as an opportunity and not as a challenge and to provide quick service to the insured.

In the program, Deputy Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Antak Bhatt made a presentation on problems and solutions related to insurance surveyors and insurers.Similarly, Birendra Vaidwar, vice president of Nepal Insurance Association, presented the problems and solutions faced by insurance surveyors and Mohan Purush Dhakal, president of Nepal Insurance Surveyors Association, made a presentation on the relationship between insurance surveyors and insurers, surveyor fees and expectations with the Nepal Insurance Authority.

Director of Nepal Insurance Authority, Dinesh Kumar Lal, participated in the program, Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Poojan Dhungel (Officer) and Chief Executive Officers of Reinsurance Company and Life Insurance Company.
