Shikhar Insurance became ideal insurance Company by Providing quick Claims to Flood Victim
Kathmandu- In the aftermath of the devastating floods caused by heavy rains last month, Shikhar Insurance has emerged as a leader in providing timely relief to flood victims by making advance insurance claim payments. The company, long regarded as a top player in Nepal’s non-life insurance sector, has taken swift action to assist policyholders.
Shikhar Insurance CEO, Dip Prakash Pandey, emphasized the company’s commitment to ensuring that all flood and landslide-related claims are settled within a week or before Tihar festivals. He highlighted the role of hundreds of employees and surveyors working diligently to process claims efficiently.
As of last Thursday, Shikhar Insurance has paid NPR 172.47 million in claims for 89 policies, far surpassing other companies, which have collectively paid just NPR 400,000. This swift response has set a high standard in the industry, putting pressure on other insurers to improve their claim processing times.
Shikhar Insurance has also used this opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of insurance, especially in times of natural calamities. By providing advance payments, the company has helped ease the financial burden on its policyholders while strengthening public trust in insurance. CEO Pandey has also urged policyholders to contact the company directly if any issues arise with documentation, ensuring a smooth and quick settlement process.
