International Inclusive Insurance Conference Formally Inaugurated by Vice President Ram Sahaya Yadav
Kathmandu. The highly anticipated five-day International Inclusive Insurance Conference, with over 500 experts and representatives from around the world, was officially inaugurated this morning by Vice President of Nepal Ram Sahay Yadav at a grand ceremony in Kathmandu.
Vice President Yadav lit the traditional lamp, marking the opening of this grand and historic international Insurance conference on Tuesday morning. The formal inauguration of the conference, which will run until October 25, took place in the presence of Munich Re Foundation’s Chairman Renate Bleich, Nepal Insurance Authority Chairman Surya Prasad Silwal, and other dignitaries.
More than 200 representatives from Nepal and approximately 300 insurance experts and representatives from 40 other countries around the world are participating in the conference. The conference, conducted under the main strategic plan of the Munich Re Foundation, includes Organizer Nepal Insurers Association, Life Insurers Association Nepal, Micro Insurers Association, and Micro Insurance Network to ensure its success.
The mega conference will delve into and summarize inclusiveness in the insurance sector, shaping fruitful policies through in-depth and extensive discussions on establishing insurance access for low-income populations.
