Enjoying Life Insurance as a Social Service “Jaisara Sharma Pangeni”

Kathmandu : Jaisra Sharma Pangeni, who retired from the headmasters of the school, had many other options to gain benefits, such as politics or business. However, she dreamed of social service, poverty alleviation and protection of common people’s risks through insurance.At first, she did not expect that she would get so much success by doing social service and running an insurance business.Jaisra Sharma Pangeni, who entered the profession of insurance agent after her working life in the government of Nepal, has a name and a price in front of her today as a woman who will participate in the first MDRT in Nepal.

Jaisra Sharma, the headmaster of a government school in Parbat, has chosen a new field as a life insurance agent with compulsory retirement. Sharma, who gave up teaching children in schools for 20 years, dedicated the rest of her life to serving the society by becoming a life insurance agent.

Jaisra Sharma Pangeni, who entered the insurance sector from LIC (Nepal), is currently working as a senior agency manager at Nepal Life.

Born in Parbat’s     Huwas village ward no. 7 ,Mrs.Jaisara, came from Syangja in the course of her studies and after getting a break from her job  to Kathmandu and entered the insurance sector. Currently, she has succeeded in making the introduction of Nepal Life’s most traded agency manager.”What doesn”t  happen if you work hard ? “an example can be learned from Jaisara. Jaisra, who entered the insurance sector after a job opportunity from the Nepal government, has not looked back since she started the path of the insurance sector. She says that she is more comfortable with independent profession like insurance agent.

Jaisra, who retired from the profession of a headmaster in a government college for two decades and entered the insurance sector, is currently giving awareness as a life insurance agent. Curious about the difference between working as a teacher and training an insurance agent, she says, “The discipline is the same, spreading the light of education. At that time, primary education, secondary education and life-useful education were focused on, now risk reduction, risk transfer and the benefits obtained through insurance.

Jaisra, who did not understand much about insurance in the beginning, has been attracted by the insurance education she received from the insurance agent while doing insurance. Jaisra, who has become more impressed with this profession through insurance related training and practical exercises, has achieved the goals of MDRT, COT and TOT by doing insurance business from Nepal Life.
