Interim order of the High Court denies to allow the newly elected committee of the Professional Insurance Agents Association Nepal Life unit from working

Kathmandu :The High Court has given an interim order to the working committee of the Professional Agents’ Association Nepal Life Insurance Committee, which was unanimously elected from the special session held in mid of January, 2024 A.D, not to do any work.

Law Minister Dhanraj Gurung was the chief guest in the program where the working committee, which was elected through closed session and election even though the High Court has given order not to perform any activities to the newly elected ones from the committee.

The association has informed that the joint bench of Patan High Court judge Shyamji Pradhan and Hari Prasad Paudel has issued an order to suspend the working committee elected from the special session held in Kathmandu on 6th and 7th of January, 2024 A.D (21st and 22nd of Paush, 2080 B.S) until the end of the writ petition.

The old working committee registered a writ in the high court saying that the old working committee were not called in the session where the chairman themselves did the meeting and conducted an election without informing the old working committee.
