In the Global Money Week Madhesh Province: Insurance awareness for the students

Increasing insurance literacy by in collaboration with teachers and students to expand insurance coverage

Kathmandu : Madhesh Province Office of Nepal Insurance Authority is celebrating ‘Global Money Week’ with grandeur by organizing various programs. On this occasion, the Madhesh province Office conducted an insurance related program among the students in consultation with the local stakeholders.

On Wednesday, the Madhesh province Office completed an insurance literacy program in the presence of the students of Sri Nrisingh Secondary School in Birganj-14, Parsa Disttricts. The Madhesh Provincial Office informed that a large number of students in attendance in the program.

The Authority is conducting the program with the aim of enhancing financial literacy among students, developing financial knowledge, skills and attitudes, providing information about Nepal’s insurance system and business with the participants, and expanding insurance coverage by enhancing insurance literacy in collaboration with teachers and students.

The Madhesh province office of the Insurance Authority has been very active in the Global Money Week compared to other provinces. Due to the insurance literacy and breakfast program organized by the authority, hundreds of students have been able to acquire the necessary knowledge related to insurance.
