Mumbai, India – Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s health insurance claim details, amounting to Rs 35.95 lakh, were leaked on social media following an attack at his Bandra West residence. Saif, who suffered multiple stab wounds, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, Rs 25 lakh of the claim has already been approved by Niva Bupa Health Insurance, with the remaining amount pending. The leak has raised concerns about disparities in health insurance coverage, with Mumbai-based cardiac surgeon Dr. Prashant Mishra highlighting the challenges faced by middle-class policyholders. He noted that claims exceeding Rs 5 lakh are rarely approved for ordinary citizens, unlike cases involving high-profile individuals.

Niva Bupa confirmed approving a cashless pre-authorization for Saif’s treatment and expressed concern over the leak, wishing the actor a swift recovery. Saif and his family have not commented on the matter.
