Himalayan Life Insurance Announces Discounts on Late Fees for Expired Policies

Kathmandu – Himalayan Life Insurance has introduced a special discount on late fees for expired insurance policies, providing policyholders with an opportunity to renew their policies at reduced costs. The company has announced discounts of up to 75 percent on interest penalties for expired policies.

This offer is applicable to insurance policies issued by the former Prime Life Insurance, Union Life Insurance, and Gurans Life Insurance, which are now under Himalayan Life Insurance.

According to the company, expired policies can be renewed and reactivated between February 2 and February 12 to benefit from this scheme. The interest penalty will be waived by 75 percent for policies that have been expired for up to seven years and by 50 percent for policies expired for more than seven years.
