IME Life’s Sunshine Group Holds Training and Honor Program in Koshi Province

Kathmandu — The Sunshine Group, under IME Life Insurance, has successfully organized a capacity-building training program for agency managers and team leaders in Koshi Province, accompanied by a special ceremony to honor top-performing agency managers. The event took place at the Ganga Jamuna Hotel in Itahari and drew the active participation of more than 100 attendees.

The program’s chief guest, Pawan Kumar Khadka, CEO of IME Life Insurance Company, outlined the company’s future strategy, presented its progress report, and offered strategic guidance to participants for the days ahead.

Special guests included Sunil Kumar Acharya from the Training Department, Koshi Province Chief Milan Dahal, Assistant Province Chief Om Prakash Rai, and Chief Agency Manager Nava Upadhyay. They delivered motivational messages focusing on topics such as the relationship between agencies and insurance, the growing importance of life insurance, and the promising future for insurance agents.

The program was chaired by Devendra Koirala, Chief Agency Manager of IME Life and Chairman of the Sunshine Leaders Group. Tarahara Branch Chief Bijay Khanal conducted the proceedings, while MDRT and Senior Agency Manager Nawaraj Poudel delivered the welcome address.

Attendees included IME Life’s MDRT members, chief and senior agency managers, branch heads, and leading team members. The one-day program featured interactive discussions and a review of key takeaways, aimed at strengthening knowledge, boosting confidence, and inspiring participants to expand life insurance outreach in the province.
