Micro Non-Life Insurance Report Rs 165 Million Premium in First Two Months of Current FY

Kathmandu – Micro non-life insurance companies in Nepal have recorded promising growth in the first two months of the current fiscal year, earning a total insurance premium of Rs 165 million. According to data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, four micro non-life insurers contributed to this total, reflecting an active start to the year.
Leading the sector, Protective Micro Insurance secured the highest premium collection, earning Rs 43.5 million up to the end of the month of Bhadra. The company has been particularly aggressive in expanding its business, signaling a strong focus on growth in the micro insurance segment.
Other companies also showed solid performance. Nepal Micro Insurance collected Rs 42.4 million in premiums, Trust Micro Insurance earned Rs 42 million, and Star Micro Insurance brought in Rs 37 million.
