Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life to Hold Special General Meeting, Plans to Convert Founder Shares

Kathmandu — Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited has scheduled a Special General Meeting for 9:00 AM on April 2, 2026 at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. The decision was made during the company’s board meeting held on March 17, 2026.

The meeting will consider a proposal to convert 10% of the company’s founder shares into public shares. It will also authorize the board to amend the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association as needed, including incorporating any changes required by regulators or making necessary wording adjustments.

The company has set March 26, 2026 as the book closure date for the meeting. Shareholders recorded on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) up to March 25, 2026 will be eligible to attend and vote.
