Citizen Life Contributes NPR 15.1 Million to Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu — Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited has provided NPR 15.1 million in financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for flood victims.

The company said the contribution was made to support the rescue, relief, rehabilitation and humanitarian assistance of families affected by the disaster. Of the total amount, NPR 1.867 million was contributed by Citizen Life’s Citizen Leaders, while NPR 2.133 million was contributed by the company’s employees.

Citizen Life Insurance Chairman Pradip Jung Pandey, Chief Executive Officer Poshak Raj Paudel, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary Dip Bahadur BC handed over the contribution to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.

Meanwhile, the company said it has instructed all agents and employees in the affected areas to gather information about the condition of its policyholders and their family members affected by the disaster.

The company has also instructed its personnel to coordinate and facilitate the claims process if affected policyholders or their family members require insurance claim assistance, ensuring that claims are processed smoothly, promptly and effectively.
