Life Insurance Companies Earn Rs 12.34 Billion Insurance Premiums in Mangsir
Kathmandu – Life insurance companies in Nepal have collectively earned an insurance premium of Rs 12.34 billion during the month of Mangsir, according to data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority. The report highlights the contributions of 14 life insurance companies currently operating in the country.
Nepal Life Insurance led the sector by earning the highest premium, collecting Rs 3.35 billion in Mangsir. Following Nepal Life, LIC Nepal earned Rs 1.6 billon and National Life earned Rs 1.54 billion.
Himalayan Life Insurance secured Rs 1.2 billion in premiums, while Asian Life Insurance and MetLife earned Rs 616.9 million and Rs 456.8 million, respectively. IME Life Insurance collected Rs 359.1 million during the same period.
Other notable performers included Suryajyoti Life Insurance, which earned Rs 745.4 million, and Sanima Reliance Life, with Rs 538.0 million in premiums. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life recorded earnings of Rs 314.4 million.
