Himalayan Everest Insurance Invests Over Rs 4.93 Billion Across Diverse Sectors

Kathmandu – Himalayan Everest Insurance has made significant investments totaling Rs 4.93 billion by the end of the first quarter of the current fiscal year, according to data from the Nepal Insurance Authority.

The largest portion of the company’s investments, Rs 3.23 billion, has been directed towards term deposits in Class A banks. Additionally, Rs 422 million has been invested in Class B banks, and Rs 191.5 million in Class C banks.

In the stock market, Himalayan Everest Insurance has allocated Rs 29.8 million towards shares of listed companies and Rs 262 million in preference shares of banks.

The company has also invested Rs 498.7 million in priority sectors, including agriculture, solar energy, roads, education, and health. Furthermore, Rs 63.1 million has been allocated to shares in the Citizens Investment Fund and Mutual Fund, Rs 20 million to other promoter shares, and Rs 167.5 million under other investment categories.
