Non-Life Insurance Companies Earn Over Rs 24 Billion in Seven Month

Kathmandu – Non-life insurance companies in Nepal have collectively earned insurance fees amounting to Rs 24.27 billion in the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2081/82. According to data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority, 14 non-life insurance companies reported these earnings by the end of the month of Magh .
Among them, Shikhar Insurance recorded the highest business, generating Rs 3.13 billion in insurance fees during the period. The company attributes its strong performance to efficient top management and the quick and easy settlement of insurance claims, which have enhanced customer trust.
Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance secured the second position with Rs 2.93 billion in earnings, followed by Siddhartha Premier Insurance with Rs 2.44 billion. IGI Prudential Insurance generated Rs 2.02 billion, while Neco Insurance earned Rs 1.95 billion in the seven-month period.
