Insurance Companies Provide Traffic Safety Equipment to Nepal Police

Kathmandu – Various insurance companies operating in Lumbini Province have provided traffic safety equipment to the Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Butwal. The equipment was handed over in coordination with the Nepal Insurance Authority Lumbini Province Office as part of the companies’ corporate social responsibility efforts.
A total of 16 traffic safety materials, including 10 “No Parking Stands,” 4 “Accident Warning Boards,” and 2 “Wheel Locks,” were handed over at a program held at the Nepal Insurance Authority office in Kalikanagar, Butwal.
Purna Bahadur Thapa, Head of the Nepal Insurance Authority Lumbini Provincial Office, presented the safety equipment to Shyam Bahadur Khatri, Head of the Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Butwal. Khatri expressed gratitude for the support, stating that such contributions from insurance companies would help reduce road accidents.
The program was supported by Siddhartha Premier Insurance, Shikhar Insurance, NLG Insurance, Himalayan Everest Insurance, IGI Prudential Insurance, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance, and Neco Insurance.
