Radha Pokharel Appointed Woman Director of Nepal Insurance Authority

Kathmandu – Radha Pokharel has been appointed as a woman director of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
The government appointed Pokharel to the vacant post under the provision for female directors outlined in the Insurance Act 2079.
Pokharel’s appointment is effective from March 14 and will last for the next four years. She also serves as the president of the Nepal Capital Market Investors Association. Two years ago, she was appointed as a director of Bishal Bazar Company.
