Salico Announces 28th AGM, Proposes 15% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu — Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (Salico) has announced that its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Baisakh 28 (May 11) at 10 AM at Ranimahal Banquet, Dnyaneshwor, Kathmandu.

According to the company, the AGM will endorse a proposal to distribute a 15 percent cash dividend (including tax) to its shareholders. In addition, the meeting will approve the financial statements of the previous fiscal year, appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year, and determine the auditor’s remuneration.

The agenda also includes reviewing meeting allowances and facilities provided to the Board of Directors and its various committees, approving expenses made under corporate social responsibility (CSR), and authorizing the Board of Directors to carry out necessary decisions.

For the purpose of the AGM, the company has announced it’s book closure on Baisakh 17 (April 30). Shareholders who hold shares until Baisakh 16 (April 29) will be eligible to participate in the meeting and claim the proposed dividend.
