Insurance Institute of Nepal to Conduct Basic Training for Insurance Surveyors

Kathmandu — The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) is set to organize a basic training program for insurance surveyors. The training will cover key areas including home, property, business and engineering insurance, motor insurance, transport insurance, and aviation insurance, according to IIN.

To be eligible for the training, candidates must meet the qualifications outlined in the Insurance Regulations, 2081. As per the criteria, applicants must either hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, have passed the Chartered Accountant examination and possess a bachelor’s degree, or have served in an officer-level position for a minimum of 10 years in a non-life, micro-life, reinsurance company, or at the Nepal Insurance Authority. Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor’s degree along with an associate degree in non-life insurance or an equivalent degree from an internationally recognized insurance institute are also eligible.

Applications for the training can be submitted until 19th Baisakh (May 02) 2082 BS. IIN has informed that the training will be conducted with 30 participants in each group.
