Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Lifts Corporate Women’s Cricket Title

Kathmandu – Sanima Reliance Life Insurance won the title of the She Strikes Corporate Women’s Cricket Tournament title with a commanding victory over Surya Nepal at Kwality Beach Resort, Sindhuli on Saturday.

The two-day competition featured nine corporate teams—Citizens Bank Limited, Citizen Life Insurance, CloudFactory, Edu-Bridge Consultancy, Ncell, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Sanima Reliance Life Insurance, SuryaJyoti Life Insurance, and Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd. After advancing through the group stage, the teams were divided into Elite, Challenger, and Plate Pools.

Surya Nepal initially defeated Sanima Reliance in the first qualifier to book a direct spot in the final. However, Sanima Reliance staged a strong comeback, overcoming CloudFactory in the second qualifier to set up a much-anticipated rematch. In a thrilling finale, Sanima Reliance turned the tables to secure the third edition title.

Swastika Karki of Sanima Reliance earned both the Player of the Final and Player of the Tournament awards. Other individual honors included Citizen Life Insurance’s Sanju Subedi (Best Bowler), Surya Nepal’s Rama Khadka (Best Batter), Surya Nepal’s Roshna Dahal (Best Keeper), and CloudFactory’s Rashika Shrestha Pahari (Best Fielder). Citizens Bank Limited bagged the Fair Play Award.
