Sanima GIC Insurance Records Rs 233.5 Million Profit in Q3

Kathmandu — Sanima GIC Insurance has published its third quarter financial report for the current fiscal year 2081/82, reporting a net profit of Rs 233.5 million by the end of Chaitra.

During the review period, Sanima GIC’s total income rose by 8.31 percent to Rs 1.02 billion, up from Rs 947.7 million in the same period last year. Meanwhile, total expenses increased by 4.87 percent to Rs 692.8 million from Rs 666.6 million.

The company’s net premium income grew marginally by 0.20 percent, reaching Rs 495.2 million compared to Rs 494.3 million in the previous year.

Sanima GIC Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 2 billion, with a disaster fund of Rs 43.5 million and a reserve fund of Rs 289.6 million. Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs 15.57, while the net worth per share is Rs 158.32.
