Five Lakh Claim Payment by Guardian Micro Life

Kathmandu : Guardian Micro Life Insurance has paid the first claim in the micro life insurance sector. The company has paid a claim amounting to 525 thousand rupees to the insured Amit Kumar Rajbanshi.Rajbanshi, the company’s insured, had a term life insurance policy of 500 thousand rupees.

He had paid an annual insurance fee of Rs.2081.As he died unexpectedly on 16th of September, the company informed that the documents related to his claim were received on 5th of October.After receiving the complete requirements on 5th of October, the company paid the claim of 525 thousand Rupees, in the presence of Binod Pokhrel, head of the Koshi region of Insurance Authority, on 6th of October through Electronic Payment.
