Nepal Life Insurance provided traffic police checking board
Kathmandu : Most reliable life insurance company of Nepal has provided checking board the office of th Kathmandu valley traffic police. During a special ceremony held office of the police at the Ramshahpath on January 10th on occasion the executive officer Praveen Raman Parajuli handed by company over 190 checking boards worth of about 1800 thousand amount.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Praveen Raman Parajuli, said that traffic checking board has been provided under the Institutional Social Responsibility Program to make the checking done by the traffic police more systematic and safe for traffic management and accident reduction at various places in Kathmandu Valley.
In addition, the company expressed its commitment to carry out the necessary maintenance for the next five years to make the checking boards more useful and continue to use them.Chief Executive Officer Parajuli informed that in the near future the company will conduct various programs to bring about positive changes in social, economic, cultural, educational, etc., under the corporate social responsibility program.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Inspector General of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Poshraj Pokharel, thanked the company for its support. He said that this support will help the traffic police to reduce traffic accidents as well as make traffic management more efficient. He said that he is eager to conduct programs related to traffic and road safety in cooperation with Nepal Life Insurance Company in the future.
