The insurance authority has asked for written suggestions to amend the directives related to motor insurance

Kathmandu :The Nepal Insurance Authority has requested suggestions from the relevant stakeholders for the purpose of making timely amendments to the Vehicle Insurance Rates Directive, 2080 B.S.

The insurance authority has issued an official letter and asked for opinions, advice and suggestions in writing form from the stakeholders. Deadline has been given until 1st of Falgun, 2080 B.S (13th of February, 2024 A.D) to send suggestions.

According to section 166 of the Insurance Act 2079 B.S, the Authority has drafted a directive to make vehicle insurance more systematic and simplified. The Authority has requested written suggestions from the stakeholders for amending the draft.
