2.2 Million Rupees Death Claim Payment Provided By LIC Nepal, Chabahil Branch

Kathmandu : Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited i.e. Chabahil branch of LIC has paid the claim amount to its insured. The company has paid a claim amount of worth 2 million 220 thousand Rupees to the dependent family of the insured.

The company organized a Handover program on 18th of Falgun and said that it provided a cheque equal to the claimed amount to Dawa Sherpa, the nephew of the deceased insured who was Nigma Rinji Sherpa.

The deceased insured Sherpa had taken out a life insurance policy of 2 million Rupees through agent Doma Sherpa two years ago. After the insured Sherpa died during a treatment few months ago, the company completed the necessary procedures and handed over the amount in the joint presence of Chabahil branch head Narendra Bista and agent Doma Sherpa on Friday.
