Samudayik Laghubitta and BPW Micro-finance has been merged and will start trading together 15 days suspension of share trading
Kathmandu : Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and BPW Micro-finance Limited are going to merge and start integrated business from 7 March, 2024 A.D (24th of Falgun, 2080 B.S). The business is going to be started under the name of ‘ Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited’.
With the start of the integrated business, the share trading of these two companies will be suspended for 15 days from 24th Falgun. According to the provisions of the “Guidelines for Mergers and Acquisitions of Organized Organizations that have been registered Securities, 2079”, share trading has to be suspended.
These two companies have merged with a 1 to 0.8535 share swap ratio. The central office of the organization formed after the merger will be in Ward No. 14 of Banepa Municipality. Central Bank gave final approval on 7 February 2024 A.D (24th of Magh 2080 B.S) and Company Registrar Office gave approval on 8th of Falgun, to integrate these two microfinance institutions.
The special general meeting of both microfinance institutions held on 30th of Magh, 2080 B.S has passed the proposal to merge with each other.
